OneScan Pro — Privacy Policy

OneScan Pro is a document scanner and signing app built to be private by default. Your scans stay on your device. This policy explains what is and isn't collected.

What stays on your device

• Scanned documents, photos, and PDFs are stored locally on your device only.
• Text recognition for searchable PDFs runs on-device. Document text is not sent anywhere.
• Your own signatures that you draw and place on a page are processed entirely on-device.

What is sent to our servers — only when you choose to

• Send for Signature: if you use the remote e-signature feature, the selected PDF and the signer's name and email are sent through our gateway to our e-signature provider (SignWell) to create the signing request. We do not retain the document after the request is created and completed.
• Anonymous account ID: the app generates a random identifier (a UUID) to track your purchase entitlements (unlimited-scan unlock and signature credits). It is not linked to your name, email, or any login. We do not require you to create an account.

Purchases

All purchases are processed by Google Play (or the App Store on iOS). We never see or store your payment card or billing details. We only receive a purchase confirmation used to unlock the feature you bought.

Permissions we use

• Camera — to scan documents. Frames are processed on-device and not uploaded.
• Internet — for purchases and, if you use it, the remote signature feature.

What we do NOT collect

• No location data.
• No contacts, call logs, or messages.
• No advertising identifiers, and no third-party ad or analytics tracking SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for advertising.

Third-party services

• SignWell — processes remote e-signature requests you initiate. See SignWell's privacy policy.
• Google Play Billing — processes purchases.

Data retention & deletion

Local documents remain until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. To delete a signature request held by our provider, or to request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous account ID, contact us at the email below and include the ID (Settings can help you locate it).

Children

OneScan Pro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
